Essential Information for Supporters
The Sports Without Borders Foundation would not exist without the generous support of its patrons and donors. We understand how vital it is that monies donated to the Foundation go directly to the targeted beneficiaries of the Foundation.
The Process
Monies received as donations for awards are distributed by application to the Sports Without Borders Foundation. Young people and sporting/community groups can apply for assistance by completing an application form which is available from our website. The applications are then received by the SWB Selection Committee who determines which applications will be funded on the basis of the suitability of the applicants. The money is then distributed to the successful applicants either by way of a cheque or by way of vouchers for the purchase of sporting equipment.
Donors are kept informed of where their money is expended both personally and via the website. All donors, if they choose to, can have their logo displayed on the SWB. However, if you prefer your involvement with SWB to remain private, we will respect your privacy.
